My Experiences Within Motherhood, & my Attempts to Maintain a Personal Life Outside of It.

My experiences within motherhood and my attempt to maintain a personal life outside of it.
...Here I record my own self discipline: My commitment not to "let myself go". My promise to seek my God and follow my passions.
My attempt to do so despite and amidst the chaos of chasing around my high-energy kids while learning the French culture...

Life is good.

My house is a disaster. Truly a mess.  This discourages me.  Atmosphere does a lot to affect my mood.  It can literally put me at great peace or send me whirling into a pathetic depression.  Perhaps this is why I have such a passion for interior design.  In addition to my disaster of house, Charity is getting sick.  I've been listening to her snore through her congested little nose for the last hour.  Poor thing.  We've been traveling literally all week long, and I am finally home sitting on my couch, and I am exhausted.

All these seemingly dismal circumstances could significantly depress me, but the fact is, I count my life truly wonderful:  I have a truly beautiful family.  I have an insanely loving husband who would do anything for me.  My daughter, though currently under the weather, is gorgeous, precious, and healthy... truly my pride and joy.  And though it equated in me being utterly spent, I just had a miraculous week that included two trips to Disneyland, time with family, and a barbecue dinner with some of our dear friends down south.  My life is good.

If things weren't sweet enough, our future is sweeter.  I was thrilled to hear one of the sweetest sounds in the world last Friday.  Have a listen yourself...

I'm just eight and a half weeks; due January 7th!  We are very excited to be adding a new member to our precious family.  Our future is bright; my life is good!
